Growing With Tract: Corporate Headshots for 200+ Employees in Denver
When Tract first reached out to us in 2023, they were a small team. Tract is a data center land acquisition and development company headquartered in Denver, led by an experienced team of data center experts, and over the next few years their growth and hiring took off. We've been their headshot photographer the entire way, photographing more than 200 Tract employees for the bios on their website.
A Headshot Program That Grows With the Company
The hardest part of company headshots isn't one great photo day. It's keeping every photo consistent as the team keeps growing. When new people join every month, their bio photos need to sit next to everyone else's without looking like they came from a different shoot.
That's how Tract uses us today. Large groups are photographed on-site at their office, and new hires come to our Denver studio on an ongoing basis. We recreate the same backdrop and lighting every time, so a photo taken this month matches one taken in 2023.
About 40 Employees in One Morning, On-Site
In December 2025, Tract's office manager asked us to come to their office and photograph a large group, around 40 people, all in one morning, rather than sending everyone to the studio one at a time.
We set up in an open area inside their office. That's all we need: a space roughly 12 × 12 feet with ceilings of 10 feet or higher. If your office has that, we can bring the full studio to you.
The secret to a smooth morning is preparation. Everyone at Tract knew exactly what to expect before we arrived, so each person showed up ready to go. From there, Christina ran the shoot, giving every employee direction on posing and expression so the session felt easy, then sending them back to their desk.
A Consistent Look That Matches Tract's Brand
Tract chose a light grey backdrop to match their brand and keep every bio consistent across their website. We didn't give any wardrobe guidance for this group, and as you can see below, everything from suits to denim works when the backdrop, lighting, and framing are identical from person to person.
From Photo Day to Website Bio in About Two Weeks
Every employee had their own private photo gallery within a few days of the shoot. Each person picked their single favorite image for retouching, and John retouched selections as they came in over the following two weeks.
Every Tract employee receives three versions of their finished headshot:
- High resolution: for print and press
- Web: sized for their bio on Tract's website
- LinkedIn: cropped and sized for their profile
