I’m Christina, the owner and lead photographer of a Denver-based headshot company, and I’m here to share my story of transformation. Transitioning to a new career is not only possible—it can lead to a life filled with passion and purpose.
My professional path began in Philadelphia, where I worked as a litigation attorney. While I appreciated aspects of the legal field, I often found myself yearning for a more creative outlet. Confrontation and public speaking were integral parts of my job, but they didn’t align with my natural inclinations. In 2008, I decided it was time for a change. I moved to Colorado, pursued a Master’s degree at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and fell in love with both the state’s awe-inspiring landscapes and the art of photography.
Although life took me back East for a while, where I continued practicing law full-time, my passion for photography remained strong. Over the years, I honed my craft, studied techniques, and envisioned a career that would allow me to blend my creative ambitions with my deep affection for Colorado.
When the chance to return to Colorado presented itself, I embraced it wholeheartedly. This time, I made a bold decision: photography would no longer be a side pursuit. I transitioned from the courtroom to the photography studio, specializing in corporate and professional headshots. Today, I run my own business while continuing to practice law remotely and part-time. This balance allows me to focus on what I truly enjoy.
